Our firm has extensive involvement in Dispute Resolution and Litigation whether it be commercial arbitration or commercial litigation. Our lawyers are comfortable both inside and outside the courtroom and are adept in all aspects of court procedures in both judicial and quasi-judicial arenas.
Our experience includes litigating in the regular trial courts and in the appellate courts as well. We have practiced in every level of the judiciary from the Metropolitan Trial Courts, the Regional Trial Courts, the Court of Appeals and to the Supreme Court. We have specialized practice areas in labor and tax where our lawyers regularly appear before the Arbitration Branches and at the commission level of the National Labor Relations Commission. We also regularly litigate before the Court of Tax Appeals. We have made frequent appearances in other special administrative bodies such as the Board of Special Inquiry of the Bureau of Immigration, and the National Conciliation and Mediation Board of the Department of Labor and Employment.
The firm has also done much work in connection with commercial fraud investigation and other commercial crimes and their subsequent criminal prosecution.
The firm has experience in most areas of commercial litigation but is sensitive to the inefficiencies of protracted litigation. Hence, our firm maintains an aggressive presence in arbitration and other alternative modes of dispute resolution. We have participated in a variety of arbitration proceedings on commercial issues and profoundly appreciate the efficiency and savings for the client who is willing to participate in alternative modes of dispute resolution.
We have a strong commitment to our clients’ cause. When called upon to litigate on a commercial matter, we muster all necessary resources in analyzing every detail of our clients’ cause of action. This includes all phases of documentation, evidence gathering and witness preparation. We believe that a successful trial is managed long before the case reaches the courtroom and thus prepare for each and every case accordingly.
